KRYSTEXXA was approved for marketing by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on September 14, 2010 and became commercially available in the United States by prescription on December 1, 2010. The Company also sells and distributes branded and generic versions of oxandrolone, a drug used to promote weight gain following involuntary weight loss.
